Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is the perfect practice for mamas at every stage of pregnancy, from the first trimester to 40 weeks (and beyond!). No previous yoga experience is necessary. Each class includes 50-60 minutes of prenatal yoga + discussion and information to support your pregnancy and birth journey. The practice places an emphasis on functional breath and movement to support and strengthen the body throughout pregnancy.
Coping tools, movement, positions, and important information for for pregnancy, birth and postpartum are covered in classes in addition to connection with a community of other pregnant folks, your body, and your baby.

Postpartum Yoga

Whether you had a baby 4 weeks or 4 years ago, the postpartum period is a sacred time.  Postpartum Yoga honors and celebrates the differences in your body and the incredible work it has done continues to do.  Postpartum Yoga classes focus on honoring the birth and pregnancy journey, in addition to healing key areas of the body that undergo a lot during pregnancy and birth (core, pelvic floor, hips, & glutes and back, neck & shoulders). These classes also focus on supporting and healing collectively from the demands of birth and parenthood. 

 
 

Baby + Me Yoga

Baby + Me yoga classes are sessions of healing and supportive yoga aimed to provide time for bonding with baby, intentional movement and breath to heal the body postpartum, and a chance to connect with other caregivers and babies. The practice focuses on functional breath and movement - the first line in healing the body postpartum! No previous yoga experience is necessary!

Heal and build strength in key areas, while connecting to other new mamas, your breath, your body, and your baby.

Family Yoga

The focus of family yoga classes is fun, connection, breath, and mindful movement for the whole family. Classes incorporate music, games, and playfulness woven through the practice. Family yoga classes are between 30-60 minutes and are most appropriate for children ages 2-12 years old with their adults, but all ages are welcome.

Mama Flow Yoga

Mama Flow is an intentional flow based class specifically with the needs of pregnant, postpartum, and bodies that care for children in mind! This class is a hybrid between prenatal and postpartum yoga classes and is intended for anyone anyone who identifies as a mama or caregiver.
Breath is the foundation of this practice partnered with mindful functional movement and breath to stretch, strengthen and support your body and mind. Join a mama flow class for connection to yourself and your community of support.

The Support Group at The Motherhood Collective

The Support Group at The Motherhood Collective is a safe haven to nurture new and expectant moms as they enter the magical, mysterious and often challenging time of motherhood. Together we will consciously celebrate the transitions moms face while learning and sharing within a community. This group is a safe and welcoming space for parents identifying as mothers (we welcome all gender identities, biological, and adoptive moms) to share your experiences, concerns, ask questions, and form community with other moms. Sharing this space with other parents promotes your well-being and supports your relationship with your baby during this sweet and at times stressful time of bonding and development. Bring your questions, your stories, and your baby.

This group is facilitated by Emily Sustar, RPYT, RYT 500, Birthing from Within mentor, and founder/ owner at teacher at The Motherhood Collective and Erin Edwards, IBCLC, doula, L & D nurse and owner / founder at Little Bird Lactation along with special guest presenters at least once a month.

Empowered Birth Childbirth Preparation Class

Whether this is your first or your fourth baby, whether you choose to birth at the hospital, at home, or a birthing center, & whether your goal is an unmedicated water birth, scheduled c- section, VBAC, or anything in between, every birthing person deserves to feel empowered to choose the best path for them + their baby.

Join Emily Sustar, RPYT, RYT 500, & Birthing From Within mentor & Erin Edwards, IBCLC, doula, & L & D nurse, for a special childbirth preparation course designed to empower both the birthing person and their partner. This course will cover the basics of birth; what happens in labor + delivery & postpartum, coping techniques, movement, breath, and strategies to add to your toolbox for the birth journey, in addition to mental and physical preparation for the parenthood transition.

Breastfeeding Basics Class

Join this class to learn all the basics needed to prepare for a successful breastfeeding / chestfeeding experience! It's everything you need to know as you begin and the tips that will be most helpful along the way!
This course covers topics like: colostrum vs. mature milk, how your body makes milk, how to protect that milk supply, infant instincts and development, what to expect from your body, how to determine if baby is getting enough milk, how to know if your baby is hungry, the all-important latch, feeding positions, expressing milk, milk storage, red flags and trouble-shooting for common issues.

This class is ideal to take while pregnant, but postpartum parents are welcome to attend. We encourage partners to attend as well!

This class is taught by Erin Edwards, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Birth Doula, Certified Massage Therapist and Licensed Practical Nurse.

Meditation + Reiki For Motherhood

Join monthly Meditation + Reiki at The Motherhood Collective! This class is facilitated by Bethany Tracy of Amaris Healing. Bethany is an intuitive reiki practitioner and teacher who focuses on growing the individual's awareness through meditation + energy balancing.

Every stage of motherhood from raising teens to adults, to capturing the moments with children and toddlers, and growing/conceiving babies come with their own challenges, re-learnings, and great rewards. Join this class for deep relaxation and be guided with different tools and insights to better connect to the emotional and energetic body. Each class includes space to connect, bond, and learn from one another followed by a guided meditation infused with Reiki where each participant receives Reiki as a collective. We discuss how healing modalities such as meditation and reiki can benefit mother and child, and each mother will get to experience the shifts it brings within their lives.

The main focus of this offering is to bring a stronger connection to oneself and your child(ren).
